This is a little different than what I usually paint, but I wanted to have a little fun with the process (The tail was a massive pain though and there was a point where I almost gave up. Glad I didn’t.) Many artists say that enjoying the process of creation itself is more important than the final result. I think that’s when we make our most authentic work - when we let our true self express inner emotions, without the worry of something being understood the wrong way.
It seems as if in modern society it’s very common to be afraid to be your true identity. I figure it’s also hard to be sure what that identity actually looks like.
