More bird photos!
I took some new ones and found the lost ones...finally!
There has been a little owl in the area and I was able to get many photos of it. Here are the best ones:

Remember the other post about the birds of prey in our area? I mentioned that I had lost photos of them, particularly the griffon vulture. Well I found them! They were in a folder on my dad’s laptop and apparently we had forgotten to transfer them. There are other photos there too.
This is a harrier. I’m not sure of the species, because the camera wouldn’t cooperate and didn’t focus on the most important pose. Oh, well.

Got some more bee-eaters.

For the first time (probably not last) I don’t know what this bird is. No clue.
This Eurasian green woodpecker was definitely aware that it was being photographed. Just look at that hairstyle, or should I say “featherstyle”.

Probably an Eurasian hobby. Not sure, because the camera still wouldn’t understand what I was talking about - to focus!
Finally The griffon vulture! Not much but very sharp!

And a bonus red admiral butterfly basking in the sun.
Pretty cool huh? After a year basically, I realized how far I have come. Even though they aren’t perfect or even close to the ones online, I’m still proud of them and myself.

Speaking of woodpeckers, I just saw our regular in the mimosa tree this morning. It must have found something juicy -- it was as big as its beak when it flew away.
